SARIA
Since the mid 20th century, we have witnessed amazing technological advances that have allowed us to see the universe with other eyes. One of those advances is synthetic-aperture radar, which is a form of radar that uses the motion of an antenna to generate an image of an object with astounding spatial resolution.
With the experiment Synthetic-Aperture Radar using an Inflatable Antenna (SARIA), we want to further advance the technology, and show that even with commercial off-the-shelf materials and components, we are able to perform synthetic-aperture radar imaging of the landscape.
